Deloe is a London-born platform that connects everyday people with vetted, insured local drivers — making moving, hauling, and bulky-item delivery as simple as ordering dinner, while building a more local and circular economy along the way.

Our mission is to make moving feel effortless — turning a fragmented, cash-based, stressful chore into one trusted tap, while extending the gig economy to people who need flexible, dignified, fairly-paid work.

We build for the student who found the perfect dresser across town, the first apartment, the move-out weekend — for anyone letting a stranger carry their life down the stairs, and who deserves to know exactly who that stranger is.

Why we started

Moving was stuck between bad options.

Every year, students and young renters flood into cities like London — and getting a couch, mattress, or apartment’s worth of stuff from A to B meant wrestling a rental truck or trusting an unregulated, cash-only mover. Good furniture ends up on the curb, people “live with the old mattress,” and a whole fragmented industry runs on word-of-mouth and guesswork. We built Deloe to standardize that chaos and attack the real problem: a lack of mobility, not a lack of labour.

And for a lot of people — especially anyone moving alone for the first time — “some guy with a truck off the internet” was never really an option. So we built the option: movers our team has met, vetted, and stands behind, with every step visible in the app.
